Sterile Kerlix™  Woven Gauze Super Sponges by Covidien measures 6 x 6 3/4 inches and is diamond folded in a packet. The gauze comes sterile to avoid cross contamination. The super sponges are also available in bulk to supply a home first aid kit or fully stock a medical clinic or hospital.

Kendall Kerlix™ Super Gauze Sponges are designed with a special crinkle-weave pattern that creates high absorbency to control wound exudate away and into a secondary dressing. The crinkle weave allows the wound to breathe and with the management of exudate, it reduces the risk of maceration. It's made from pre-washed and fluff-dried cotton that's hypoallergenic to be sensitive to the skin. It also offers 6-ply construction which adds loft and bulk for patient comfort and to be extra gentle to the wound bed. The edges are overlapped to prevent pressure points while bandaging and the finished edges prevent the bandage from fraying to reduce linting which is especially important when the gauze is used for wound packing, debriding and cleaning medical instruments.
