Mextra® Superabsorbent addresses three of the important features of a superabsorbent dressing. High absorption capacity, high retention capacity and excellent conformability.  Mextra Superabsorbent can be used on highly exuding wounds, such as venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and in some cases pressure ulcers.

Mextra Superabsorbent is soft and conforrmable which makes it easy to apply and it fits along the body contours, making it more comfortable to wear. The dressing maintains its structure and integrity without becoming bulky upon exudate absorption. The polyacrylate superabsorbent particles have a protease modulating activity and provides a conductive environment for healing to proceed. The fluid-repellent backing material protects against fluid strike-through.
