Defib pads consist of an electroconductive gel supported by a porous-woven fabric. 3M™ Defib-Pads may only be used with metal paddles, and are not substitutes for MFE (Multi-Function Electrodes) with any AED. Defib-Pads have a success rate equivalent to lowest resistivity gels.
